Nike

Nike, Inc. was founded in 1964 as Blue Ribbon Sports by Bill Bowerman and Phil Knight, and officially became Nike in 1971. Named after the Greek goddess of victory, Nike grew from selling imported Japanese running shoes to becoming the world's largest supplier of athletic shoes and apparel.
