AJ Dybantsa Debuts Nike GT Basketball Model

Nike Basketball’s next GT model just made its debut. During a training session ahead of the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas, Washington Wizards rookie AJ Dybantsa was spotted wearing a never-before-seen Nike Basketball silhouette; Sneaker News can exclusively confirm with Nike that the shoe is an upcoming addition to the brand’s GT franchise[1]. The official model name has yet to be revealed, but at this stage, the silhouette is potentially one of three upcoming new entries in the line slated for a 2027 release: the GT Uptempo, GT Force, or GT Flight[1]. While technical specifications remain under wraps, the shoe features a low-cut construction with a molded exterior with a bootie construction for lockdown fit[1]. His PE logo appears at the heel[1]. Photos shared by House of Heat showed Dybantsa wearing a metallic silver version of Nike's upcoming GT basketball model during Wizards practice[6]. The unnamed Nike GT basketball shoe features a wildly polished chrome finish across its body and molded cushioning system[9]. The shoe bears design similarities to the GT Future silhouette, including rippled sidewalls and a form-fitting mesh inner layer[9]. As of now, Nike has not officially confirmed the release of this shoe, and there is currently no set date for when the Dybantsa GT model will be available[4].
